The EQUIBOL roots
EQUIBOL is steeped in the past. From centuries of experience with kefir (a milk product produced by lactic acid fermentation and simultaneous alcoholic fermentation with yeast), it is known to have a positive effect on digestion, performance, health, well-being and against ageing. However until recently it was not known which substances in the kefir actually possessed these positive effects. This lost secret of nature has now been re-discovered. Once identified as nucleotides with a special structure, the substances in question were isolated and concentrated, first as lactic bacilli and later from brewer's yeast, and then stabilised to retain their full effect, regardless of temperature, pH value contact with feed or storage.

Why EQUIBOL
The active principle the oligo-nucleotides, the actual active substances of EQUIBOL, serve to inhibit the enzymes which decompose the proteins (amino acid oxydases). This means that there are more materials available for synthesis metabolism with fewer toxins developing in the organism.
Added to the normal feed rations EQUIBOL leads to optimal conversion of the natural builder substances in the feed, i.e. these substances are utilised to a much greater extent. The vitamins already present in the feed can thus fully develop their desired effect and do not have to be specifically administered to the animals in large, unnatural doses. EQUIBOL accelerates and intensifies the conversion process by converting the vitamins into biocatalysts herby enhancing the effect of the vitamins. The materials which build up the muscular tissue, amino acids, are protected and fully utilised.
Feed utilization
With EQUIBOL the horse gains more energy from the fodder. Better protein deposition in the body cells and thus optimum development of muscle areas stressed in training.
Greater glycogen deposition along the muscle fibres, providing larger, immediately available source of energy, improved sliding ability of the muscle fibres and practically no muscular strain after maximum or continous performance.
Horse fed with EQUIBOL, which are in the building-up training stage, achieve the best lactate and blood serum total protein values.
The results of adding EQUIBOL to their normal horse feed are improved performance and load carrying capacity, increased will to work, later onset of tiredness, shortening of the recovery phase, looser gait, and an immaculate sheen to the horse's coat. Of great importance is the fact that by supplementary feeding with EQUIBOL it is possible to influence the wellknown decline in performance after long haulage (acclimatization). Horses are definitely capable of producing their maximum performance at an earlier stage.
Practical application
EQUIBOL is suitable for all horses that are physically taxed for sports purpose, whether they be racehorses (trotting, cantering or galloping horses), competition horses or military horses. Admixture of EQUIBOL is also strongly recommended for mares in foal as well as for breeding and for convalescence. EQUIBOL is mixed with normal horse feed and is normally well assimilitated. In case of refusal to accept EQUIBOL, smaller doses should be given initially.
EQUIBOL is a no doping substance. None of the previously-mentioned effects is achieved by short-term application or by administering EQUIBOL to untrained horses. Several horses fed with EQUIBOL as a supplement have been checked doping control procedured in France, Switzerland, Sweden, Germany, Belgium, Italy and United Kingdom all with negative results.
The first effects manifest themselves after then days of dosage with EQUIBOL; optimum results are achieved after a course of treatment of 2 months.
Dosage
Add EQUIBOL to the regular feed.
Recomended daily dosage: 2g per 100 kg bodyweight,
i.e. 5g twice daily (1 measuring spoon mornings and evenings)
1 kg EQUIBOL (original dose) is sufficient for a 100-day course for a hourse.
